Wetland SanctuaryDragonfly Springs Wetland Sanctuary in Northland is a restored wetland replicating the natural swamp that existed on the Onerahi shoreline centuries ago. As a nature reserve, it is primarily an educational asset. Our focus is on environmental education, and we are always happy to share our knowledge with anyone wishing to restore wetlands.
Dragonfly Springs is a fun learning environment for parents, teachers, and children of all ages. No matter your age, you will leave having had a lot of fun, and take home knowledge that will stay with and serve you for life.
Dragonfly Springs Wetland Sanctuary is now being administered by a Charitable Trust following the kind donation to the community by Jeremy Busck and Pam Winters.

Dragonfly Springs Wetland Sanctuary is the place to have fun and learn a bunch of stuff you’ll be able to use until you are too old to walk.

Dragonfly Springs Wetland Sanctuary helps you provide students with a unique learning experience. It’s a fun way to learn useful knowledge and the experience will have them considering their environment in a more holistic fashion.
