We are always in dire need of funding with 15 acres to manage and clean-up, and the urgent need for more plantings, to finish a work room, install new sculptures, work with local council to have drainage run through the wetlands and avoid historic flooding in neighbouring locales, and much more.

Your assistance allows us to bring the wetland up to a functional level so we can ensure the harbour receives only cleansed stormwater.

That contributes to better quality harbour water, and in turn to a better quality fish and fishing environment. It means too that mangrove colonies don’t develop where previously they were non-existent. Functioning wetlands are critical to a functioning regenerating landscape. They bring waterfowl which keep the insect population down and they ensure the health of the wider ecosystem.

Thank you from the bottom of the swamp, and our hearts, for your assistance.
